Get to know our core team and learn why they are building MADANA.
Time is going by quick and with our official ICO announcement date approaching soon we want to take the time to introduce our team. We at MADANA stand behind our vision and over a series of post will let you get to know us better. Today we start with our leadership and co-founders: Our CEO Christian Junger, COO Dieter Schule, CTO J.-Fabian Wenisch and Marketing Manager Yan Schreier.
The core team not only is sharing a passion for Blockchain but also has known each other for several years. This longstanding bond is one of our great assets as everyone knows each other strengths and weaknesses. The result is smooth work: German efficiency!
Christian
Our CEO and co-founder Christian Junger is a true native Aachener and studied Business Administration at the RWTH Aachen University and the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid specialized in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Equipped with a full scholarship for highly talented students he engaged in the crypto and Blockchain field early on since 2013. Next to Max Kordek, the co-founder of Lisk, and Yan Schreier he established the official student club “Bitcoin Aachen” which also holds the biggest regional Bitcoin Meetup. Christian has worked as Business Developer next to the executive board of the CryptoTec AG in the Blockchain and crypto field with headquarters in Cologne and offices in Europe, North America, and Asia. Since Christian is well connected in the crypto scene we are proud to have him on board as he is the strategist in this crazy Blockchain world.
Dieter
Dieter is our COO and co-founder and is most comfortable at the intersection of technology and entrepreneurship. Prior to MADANA, he was a management consultant involved in implementing and consulting on business structures and processes. His experiences range from setting up organizational structures and business processes for startups to reorganizing old structures in established corporations. Dieter holds an M.S from RWTH Aachen University in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration specialized in Entrepreneurship. As a typical German Engineer, he loves accuracy, clear communication, and structure which he is furthering at MADANA as our COO. Dieter is our true visionary and with great focus on making a change.
Fabian
J.-Fabian Wenisch is our CTO and co-founder and has over 14 years experience in Programming and IT-Systems. For the last 8 years, Fabian worked in the German automotive industry as IT System Engineer and Software Engineer developing a specialized secure transmission system (OFTP) which is used by over 3000 commercial customers worldwide. He also developed several interfaces in the fields of EDI, EERP and PPS Systems which are used by the big players in the German automotive industry. Besides his programming knowledge, Fabian has wide interests in IT Systems and is passionate about data privacy and data protection. Fabian’s love for Blockchain began with GPU mining over four years ago and ever since he has been gathering experiences in this fields. He is skilled in securing an IT infrastructure and is experienced in setting up and enforcing information security policies which makes him the perfect fit for a project like MADANA.
Yan
Our Marketing Manager Yan Schreier met Christian for the first time when they co-founded the university group “Bitcoin Aachen” during his Bachelor at RWTH Aachen where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration. Yan gathered many experiences during his work in Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Kazakhstan, and China and enjoyed learning about different cultures and how to communicate with them. Yan has immersed himself in the Blockchain community since 2011 and combined with his experiences in Blockchain research at the Bosch IoT-Lab at St. Gallen University and ETH Zurich and as Bitcoin Meetup organizer he understands the crypto ecosystem well enough to be the right person to lead the marketing efforts at MADANA.
